TENORIO-LED ACES POUNCE ON CABAGNOT-LESS TIGERS

ALASKA has shown it could win with talent alone.

When it has luck on its side, then it becomes doubly blessed.
Like Friday night, when the Aces pounced on an Alex Cabagnot-less Coca-Cola crew for a cruising 99-83 victory in the KFC PBA Philippine Cup at the Araneta Coliseum.

AIR21 CLOBBERS BARANGAY GINEBRA

The Air21 Express were there to observe a Barangay Ginebra occasion but won't yield the night altogether.

The Express seized the limelight on their 102-84 manhandling of the Kings on the night former Ginebra player Dante Gonzalgo was given a little tribute by a reality TV show at the Araneta Coliseum.

Sonny Cabatu, Pido Jarencio, JV Gayoso and Mike Advani showed up to be with Gonzalgo. Ironically, these proud former Ginebra players only became witnesses to a carnage of the Kings.
Air21 jumped the gun on Ginebra and took control to the finish, snapping a two-game losing skein to gain a piece of fifth place with the Kings and two other teams in the KFC PBA Philippine Cup elimination round.

The Express caught up with the Kings, the Sta. Lucia Realtors and the Purefoods Tender Juicy Giants at 7-7, just half-game behind the Talk n Text Tropang Texters (7-6) and a game adrift the San Miguel Beermen (8-6) and the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters (8-6).
